Most modern routers and extenders use a web-based interface for configuration. Instead of requiring you to memorize a complex string of numbers (an IP address like 192.168.2.2 ), Edimax uses a : edimaxext.setup .
If prompted, the default credentials for most Edimax devices are: Username: admin Password: 1234 Edimaxext.setup Index2.asp
Note: You will likely see a "No Internet Connection" warning. This is normal; you are connected to the device, not the web yet.
