Intergraph Smartplant Spoolgen Better Site
: By reusing validated design data (from PCF or IDF files), the software eliminates the need for manual re-entry, which is the primary source of fabrication errors.
: While manual methods or basic 2D CAD can take 1 to 4 hours per spool sheet, SmartPlant Spoolgen can generate a complete set of accurate drawings and Material Take-Off (MTO) reports in just a few minutes. intergraph smartplant spoolgen better
: Unlike complex design software, Spoolgen is designed for fabrication engineers. It allows junior or less-skilled personnel to produce high-quality, professional results, freeing up senior designers for more complex tasks. Key Features Driving Superior Efficiency : By reusing validated design data (from PCF
In the complex world of industrial piping fabrication, the transition from engineering design to shop-floor production is often a major bottleneck. Conventional manual methods and 2D CAD drafting are frequently plagued by transcription errors, inconsistent standards, and slow turnaround times. Intergraph SmartPlant Spoolgen provides a better alternative by automating the creation of piping spool drawings directly from 3D design data, significantly reducing manual effort and improving project quality. It allows junior or less-skilled personnel to produce
Traditional spooling often requires skilled draftsmen to manually redraw isometric drawings, a process that can take hours and introduce costly errors. SmartPlant Spoolgen changes this dynamic by leveraging electronic design data to automate fabrication deliverables.
Why Intergraph SmartPlant Spoolgen is Better Than Manual Spooling
SmartPlant Spoolgen isn't just a drafting tool; it is a data-centric application built on the industry-standard Isogen engine. Intergraph Spoolgen® | Hexagon

Not getting your point… If it is on how to create a response file the Oracle suggestion is to do a graphical installation and Save Response File on summary screen…

GG Microservices is the epitome of over-engineering. A group of tech-bros got together and asked how can we take a simple one installation tool and make it more complex but also make it useless at the same time. And 23ai is now the height of that stupidity. They’re like the guys on 30 Rock that was tasked with enhancing a microwave and ended up turning it into the Pontiac Aztek.
Service Manger has links back to itself on the same main page. Some links that just open up the same page, but in a new tab. They took simple one line commands like “add credentialstore” that you could put into an obey file and turned them into https curl nightmares that they claim is “simplified”.
I can build out a 19c classic deployment that includes the adapter with a kafka handler sending data to Azure EventHub in the same time it takes someone just trying to wade through the mess that is the oggca response file.
It’s a shame too, because the classic architecture is some really good replication software.

Update:
Executed the PL/SQL without the container=’ALL’ option and it completed. Not sure what the effects of omitting that option are but I guess I will find out once I set up extract & replikat
Yannick Jaquier says:
Hi Raymond,
Default option is container=’CURRENT’ so yes you might end up with an issue…
From the official documentation: “To specify ALL, the procedure must be invoked in the root by a common user.”.
Have you executed this from the root container ?

Hi Yannick,
Facing this issue when granting dbms_goldengate_auth.grant_admin_privilege but it keeps failing. Logged the issue with support but no solution given yet.

Have you attempted replicating Oracle EBS data?
Yannick Jaquier says:
Thanks for your comment !
And no, not tested with Oracle EBS data.
