Installing a skin does not automatically change the interface. To switch to your new look: In the tab, locate the "GUI Skin" dropdown box.
Unlike standard VST effects that use installers, Nexus 2 manages its visual themes—called skins—through its own content management system. : Nexus 2 requires a valid license (usually on a Steinberg USB-eLicenser ) for any content import to succeed. It will not import skins or expansions if the core plugin is not properly licensed.
: If your files are on the desktop, click the "Desktop" button in the SYS tab. Nexus will automatically scan and import all compatible skins found there. Once your files are ready, follow these steps
Once imported, the .nsk files are copied into the Nexus internal library. You can safely delete the original files from your desktop to keep your workspace clean, but it is highly recommended to of the bundle in a separate folder for future reinstalls.

: By default, Nexus stores its content in C:/Program Files/VstPlugins/Nexus/Nexus Content on Windows. If you move this folder, you must re-link it in the SYS tab so the plugin can find your skin files. 5. Managing Your Bundle
