Open the Help menu and select Check for Updates . If an update is ready, a "Restart to Apply" button will appear.

Open the app, tap your profile picture or the "You" tab , select Preferences , and scroll to the bottom.

Click the three lines (☰) icon in the top-left corner, then select Help > About Slack .

Click Slack in your computer’s top menu bar and select About Slack .
