Throughout her career, Kushboo has worked with some of the biggest names in the Tamil film industry, including directors like P. Vasu, Agathiyan, and Sundar C. Her on-screen chemistry with the latter would eventually lead to her marriage, but more on that later. Some of her notable films include "Anthapuram," "Sneham," "Kavalkalam," and "Thirudaantha Varu," among others.
Born on May 20, 1975, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kushboo began her acting career at a young age. She made her debut as a child artist in the 1988 film "Poovudachu," and slowly but surely, she started to gain recognition for her performances. As she grew older, Kushboo transitioned to leading roles and established herself as a talented actress in her own right. Her breakthrough performance came in 1999 with the film "Ratchagan," which earned her critical acclaim and commercial success.
In 2002, Kushboo married director Sundar C, with whom she had worked on several films. The couple seemed to have a happy marriage, and Kushboo even took a break from films to focus on her personal life. However, rumors of their separation began to surface in 2017, and it was reported that the couple had been living separately for some time.
